Please describe the current political situation in North Korea.
What does this do the identity and individuality of the North Korean people?
Why would the North Koreans try to escape?
What do they risk when they escape?
Do they always go to China?
What happens to the children when they are in China?
In some cases, a North Korean woman has a child with a Chinese man. Is it true that in order for this child to go to school, the family must report that the mother left the family?
So, these children who are in China are stateless. What does it mean to be stateless?
What cultural identity can these children have? Do they even know that they are North Korean?
What does this do to the political identity of the children and their parents?
Many people are proud of their culture. What type of culture can these refugees have?
With constantly living in fear of being sent back to North Korea, they must have to hide who they are.
